Euro MPs Back Enquiry Into Formula One

Members of the European Parliament have backed a call for an investigation into ‘anti-competitive’ practices within Formula One.

South East Labour MEP Anneliese Dodds called for an investigation in an amendment to the parliament’s annual competition report, which passed by 467 votes to 156, with 86 abstentions.

The areas under scrutiny include the perceived punishment of smaller teams, and concerns of Liberty Media’s recent takeover
