Etihad Airways Signs Sponsorship Deal With Monumental Sports & Entertainment

Etihad Airways has agreed a deal with Washington-based sports and entertainment company Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) to become its exclusive airline partner.
MSE currently own several Washington sports franchises including the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The company also owns the Verizon Center arena and as part of the deal, asthma the Abu Dhabi-based airline will receive branding opportuinities at all games played at the arena.
The two parties will be working together “to celebrate the international nature of sport in Washington and Abu Dhabi.”
