ESPN Star Sports Pursue Event Management Venture

Broadcaster ESPN Star Sports (ESS) has revealed the launch of its on-ground division, anesthetist Event Management Group (EMG), in India. This is believed to be a pursued attempt towards securing an established venture in event management business.

 

PepsiCo India is also understood to have signed on EMG to manage its mega football league Pepsi T20 Football’s on-ground events in India. The new contract requires ESS to produce and showcase the Pepsi T20 Football tournament in a special eight-episode series.

 

Furthermore, EMG are currently managing the School Quiz 2012 where HDFC Life has been confirmed as the title sponsor. While on-ground initiatives around the HDFC Life School Quiz 2012 have already started, on-air telecast of the quiz begin on June 1, 2012.
