December 2, 2013

Erebus Motorsport V8 and BEKO, price the electrical home appliance manufacturer have confirmed an extension to their sponsorship of the #4 and #9 entries in the V8 Supercars Championship in 2014.

BEKO have been involved with the team since the start of the 2013 season and will enjoy an increased presence on the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG V8 Supercars.

Michael Goadby , Managing Director BEKO Australian & New Zealand Pty Ltd said: “Having the BEKO logos on the bumpers of the cars provides us with great brand exposure.

“BEKO re-leverages its sponsorship by using it as a business tool to drive sales and build relationships with its retail customers. For the Gold Coast 600 event in particular, BEKO runs a national sales incentive with 200 retail customers whereby 25 of the highest performing sales staff from these retail stores win an all expenses paid weekend at the race hosted by us.

“This type of sales incentive is an excellent motivator and creates a healthy competitive spirit with the retail group, thereby providing BEKO with a focus on sales and increased results.”

Erebus CEO Ryan Maddison added: “We take great pride in not only representing BEKO but also working with them as they continue to build the brand in the market.

“As a premium brand in their arena, It is clearly great news for Erebus to see an increased involvement from BEKO and we are keen to repay that commitment with some strong performances on the tracks across Australia and New Zealand in 2014.”
