Battery manufacturer Energizer has agreed to become the primary sponsor on Kyle Larson’s No. 42 Chevrolet for the final race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.
At Talladega Superspeedway, Energizer once again looks to provide fans with fun, exciting and unique experiences.
Target Chip Ganassi Racing and Energizer have enjoyed a strong relationship through the years as a fixture with the team in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the Verizon IndyCar Series. A highlight of that relationship was breaking a Guinness World Record in 2011 at Charlotte Motor Speedway for most flashlights lit simultaneously. Energizer provided 65,000 fans with LED lights as they entered the track to break the record.
Steve Lauletta, President, Chip Ganassi Racing Teams, commented: “Our team has enjoyed a long and successful partnership with Energizer and we’re glad to see another Energizer Chevy on the track this season. From the paint schemes to their fan integration during the race weekend, Energizer always brings excitement with them to the race track.”
