Eleven To Broadcast Combat Sports In Portugal

Eleven Sports is continuing to bolster its portfolio in Portugal by securing live and exclusive Portuguese rights from combat sports distributor, Fighting Spirit, in a multi-year deal.
As part of the agreement, which gets underway in August, the global sports broadcaster will cover Kickboxing and MMA events such as Enfusion Talents, M-1 Challenge and M-1 Selection.
Pedro Pinto, Non-Executive Director of Eleven Sports Portugal, said of the deal: “Partnering with Fighting Spirit ensures we are offering fight sports fans in Portugal some of the very best Kickboxing and MMA action. We have already built an incredibly strong portfolio of football in Portugal, but this deal signifies our intent to create a well-rounded content offering for all fans. We look forward to announcing more rights acquisitions very soon.”
