European Handball Federation Names Betano As Betting Partner

The European Handball Federation’s marketing arm, EHF Marketing GmbH, has signed Betano as a regional betting partner ahead of the new Champions League season.
As part of the deal, the betting operator will receive TV and digital media exposure, on-court visibility via floor stickers and LED advertising as well as integration into marketing materials and digital campaigns on social media channels.
The agreement was brokered by Sportradar.
Ioannis Spanoudakis, Board Member of Stoiximan, which owns the Betano brand, stated: “We are very proud for this two-year sponsorship agreement with EHFM, as it reinforces our strong ties with Germany and highlights the trust that Betano has gained in the German market. It is a great pleasure and honour for us, to be supporting one of the flagship sports events in Europe and be able to provide our innovative services for this cause.
“This long-term partnership with the EHFM, the VELUX EHF Champions League and the VELUX EHF FINAL4 in Cologne, designates our continuous eagerness and commitment to a solid action plan, and our focus on being an integral and dynamic part of our new ‘home’.”
Sportradar’s Managing Director for streaming and OTT services, Rainer Geier, added: “As a company which has strong relationships with a number of betting companies, big and small, across the world, we are very proud to be able to facilitate this partnership between one of our partners and one of our clients. We are already providing a number of our services to EHF Marketing GmbH, which Betano can also now leverage to assist their expansion.”
