Airport retailer Dubai Duty Free has renewed its partnership with the Women’s Tennis Association.

Dubai Duty Free, who first began sponsoring the WTA in 2004, will continue to serve as one of the WTA’s premier sponsors under the terms of the extension.

As part of the agreement, Dubai Duty Free will retain presenting sponsorship rights to the WTA’s Player Ambassador Programme, which will continue to be supported by Danish player Caroline Wozniacki.

China’s Zhang Shuai will also be introduced to the programme, representing Dubai Duty Free’s commitment to raising the profile of the sport in the region.

Dubai Duty Free will also continue to support the end-of-year World No.1 singles and doubles awards.
