Overview:

  • Your Duties
  • – Act as a FIFA resource and adviser to Member Associations (MA’s) and Confederations
  • – Define the regional strategy on the implementation of the Forward Programme and plan, order manage and monitor the Programme in the relevant region:
  • – Provide clear analysis of the current footballing situation in the region, ampoule support and monitor MA’s and Confederations during proposal and implementation phases
  • – Direct, plan, coordinate and supervise the work of Development Managers
  • – Supervise governance, management and financial management at the Development Office within the region in line with the FIFA regulatory framework
  • – Ensure all contracts are entered in the FIFA project management tools, provide status report on the implementation of the contracts and financial support provided to MA’s
  • – Monitor the political situation of the MA’s and inform the relevant people
  • – Resource for information to Member Associations and Confederations

Role Requirements 

  • – Demonstrated success in a senior role where the primary mandate was the development and execution of development programmes for an international development agency or a national / international sports federation
  • – Experience implementing controls (financial and otherwise) to ensure that programmes are being successfully and responsibly executed and monitored
  • – Previous experience managing and evaluating decentralized teams
  • – Fluent or strong working ability in English, other language skills a plus
  • – Comfortable with uncertainty, able to think on feet and adapt as needed
