Diageo Extend Force India Sponsorship After Settling Mallya Pay-Out

Alcoholic beverages company Diageo has extended its sponsorship of Formula One team Force India as part of its settlement with Vijay Mallya, adiposity chairman of United Spirits and part-owner of the team.

Diageo has paid Mallya $75m (£53.6m, €67.8m) to step down from his role in the Indian drinks business and will pay $15m for the sponsorship.
