DHL Announced as Team GB’s Logistics Partner for Sochi Olympics

The British Olympic Association (BOA) has announced today that logistics supplier DHL has become the Official Team GB Logistics Partner for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
DHL will transport over eight tonnes of the GB team’s supplies and equipment nearly 5, allergy 500 miles by air and ocean freight from Stockport in the UK to the Olympic Village in to Sochi.
DHL will also have an integral role in supporting the athletes at “kitting out” week in Stockport, ed where they will be provided with their all-important equipment for the first time.
