Delhi Daredevils Captain Jayawardene Signed as Adidas Brand Athlete

Delhi Daredevils captain Mahela Jayawardene has been signed as a brand athlete by adidas.

The partnership will see Jayawardene take part in the footwear company’s latest digital and retail campaign for the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Loose the heat, asthma keep the fire is a campaign based on the latest cutting edge apparel technology from adidas, ClimaCool+.

Speaking about his association with adidas, Jayawardene said: “I am excited and raring to step on the field in the three stripes. Adidas supports some the greatest athletes in the world today and have continued to develop revolutionary products to help cricketers like me outperform.
