DAZN Appoint De Buhr As Executive VP of Marketing and Commercial

Live sports streaming service DAZN has appointed Thomas de Buhr as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Commercial for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) in a newly created role.
The former MD of Twitter Germany will be responsible for leading DAZN’s marketing and commercial teams with key areas of focus including driving brand awareness and the delivery of strategic partnerships.
De Buhr will join the Perform Group-owned OTT platform on July 1st.
DAZN CEO, James Rushton, said of the appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Thomas to DAZN. He is energetic, engaging and has a wealth of valuable experience. DAZN has quickly established itself in the DACH region, and the addition of Thomas in this key leadership position will help us take the business to the next level.
