Dalian Wanda Consider Acquiring Stake in AC Milan

China’s largest commercial property company Dalian Wanda is interested in purchasing a 30% stake in Italian football club AC Milan.

The company has made a huge effort to expand into the sports industry in Europe in recent months having bought a stake in Spanish Primera Liga club Atletico Madrid and also acquired international sports marketing agency Infront Sports and Media in a €1 billion deal.

According to Italian Newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, the company is considering paying $170 million for the minority stake in AC Milan.
