Cypress Associates to Sponsor Tommy Baldwin Racing at Dover International Speedway

September 18, 2014

Cypress Associates will join NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Michael Annett and the No. 7 Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) team, signing a multi-year primary sponsorship agreement beginning with the race at Dover International Speedway on Sunday, Sept. 28.

“Michael reflects many of the same values that I see in Cypress as a company,” said Barry Glenn, President of Cypress Associates. “Even though he’s a rookie, he is already competing at the highest level of the sport and his star has only just begun to rise. That’s the kind of driver that we want to work with.

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Tommy Baldwin Racing to help bring CypressHQ to NASCAR. We want people to know that wellness can be exciting, engaging and effective, not just for employees but for employers as well. That’s what CypressHQ is all about. It’s a tool for savings that actually gives employees a reason to be healthy.”

“Cypress Associates and CypressHQ are a tremendous addition to our racing program,” said Annett, who will pilot a Chevrolet SS adorned with Cypress’s signature teal, green and purple. “Everyone at TBR is working to build this team into a contender. The support of Cypress is a big vote of confidence that we’re making strides in meeting our goals.”

“We’re glad to have Cypress on board for a multi-year deal, which provides great stability for our organization,” said Tommy Baldwin, owner of TBR. “It’s a win-win for everyone involved. The CypressHQ policy is a tremendous benefit for both employees and companies.”

CypressHQ is the first fully insured wellness indemnity policy. Unlike any program before it, this innovative new product attacks America’s healthcare epidemic while remaining compliant with HIPAA guidelines. Its unique structure utilizes available tax savings to completely offset the costs of providing employers with a suite of benefits that match or exceed anything offered by a traditional indemnity plan. It uses a combination of incentives, personal coaching and a game-based online platform to help employees take charge of their wellbeing.

Cypress joins current Annett partners Pilot Flying J and Accell Construction at TBR.
