Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace have announced that 12BET will sponsor the club’s stadium and become Palace’s official betting partner.

The one-year deal at Selhurst Park marks the first time a betting/gaming company has signed a stadium sponsorship deal in the UK.

Palace chairman Steve Parish said: “I am delighted to name 12BET as our new stadium sponsor and look forward to a successful and long-term partnership between the two parties.

“As the club returns to the Premier League, there is great excitement at what can be achieved on and off the pitch and on behalf of our owners I have great pleasure in welcoming our first ever stadium sponsor to our corporate family.”

Rory Anderson, CEO of 12BET, added: “We are delighted to be the first company in our sector to pull off a stadium sponsorship deal in the Premier League.

“Crystal Palace is a great club with a fantastic history and I am very much looking forward to sampling the atmosphere at Selhurst Park.”

Crystal Palace played their first Premier League game in eight years on Sunday, but lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur.
