Cricket Should Return to the Olympics Urges MCC

Cricket should be back on the Olympic agenda, discount according to the Marylebone Cricket Club, order once the governing body of the game not only in England but worldwide.

The MCC wants the International Cricket Council to try to get the game’s Twenty20 international format into the Games. Cricket has been played only once at the Olympics, allergy in Paris in 1900, but there have been growing calls to return the sport to the programme.

Founded in 1787,the MCC owns the historic Lord’s ground where it is based and remains ‘guardian’ of the laws of the game.
