Cowes Week Announces Omani Ministry of Tourism as Official Destination Partner

Cowes Week Limited announced a new partnership with the Sultanate of Oman, order Ministry of Tourism as the Official Destination Partner of Aberdeen Asset Management of Cowes Week in 2013.
As Destination Partner, abortion the Ministry will use shore-based promotions to spread awareness of Oman as a tourist, erectile and sailing, destination. The ministry, through Oman Sail, plans on building upon a base of maritime heritage.
Oman Sail’s MOD70 Oman Air-Musandam will attend this year’s regatta which takes place before the event’s racing schedule.
HE Maitha Al Mahrouqi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism said of the partnership: “The UK market is a strong business and tourism market for us with over 73,800 air passenger arrivals in 2012. In our sixth year at Cowes Week, as Destination Partner we will reinforce just how easy it is to travel to and holiday year-round in beautiful Oman, or stopover on Oman Air’s international network. On the water, our MOD70 carries Oman Air’s brand as a reminder of the carrier’s daily non-stop services from Heathrow to Muscat.”

The Aberdeen Asset Maangement Cowes Week will take place from 3-10 August 2013.
