More panelists added to Sports Performance Masterclass

iSportconnect, the world’s largest global private network of sports business executives, is pleased to announce Chris Anderson, Managing Director of Coventry City Football Club and Mark Evans, Director of Capacity Consulting (Former Harlequins CEO) as the latest confirmed panellists for the Sports Performance Masterclass.

The event will take place in partnership with Elite Performance Partners at the Grange Hotel Wellington, London on 26th April.

Evans and Anderson will be joining:

Chris Anderson is currently Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Coventry City FC.

A pioneer of soccer analytics, Chris Anderson is passionate about applying rigorous and appropriate analysis tools to acquire, manage, and sustain clubs in the context of global competition for talent and success.

Anderson’s best-selling book on football analytics, co-authored with David Sally, is titled The Numbers Game: Why Everything You Know About Football Is Wrong”.

Trained as a data scientist with a focus on behavioral data, he has advised a variety of clients in the football industry on soccer operations, strategy, and analytics.

Mark Evans joined Harlequins as CEO in 2000 whilst at various times, simultaneously carrying out the head coach and director of rugby roles.

Mark departed Harlequins and founded Capacity Consulting in April 2011 specialising in advising sports clubs and governing bodies on a range of revenue enhancing and strategic issues

In May 2013 after being part of an international consortium which took over the organisation he was appointed CEO at Melbourne Storm.

Since then he has returned to Capacity Consulting and completed a three-month contract delivering strategic projects to the NRL in Sydney as well as working for the RFL and the RFU.
