ClearSky Remains Principal Sponsor of Hull KR

October 15, 2014

ClearSky Business have extending their partnership with Super League team Hull Kingston Rovers by a further 12 months.

The SME advice specialist linked up with the Robins last November as principal sponsor for what was their first venture into sports sponsorship and they will now continue their support in Super League.

As well as sponsoring the ClearSky East Stand at the KC Lightstream Stadium for another season, the new deal will see the firm once again appear across the front of the club’s home and away shirts in 2015, with the new-look designs set to be unveiled to supporters in the run up to Christmas.

ClearSky’s managing director Derek Kelly said he was delighted the firm will be working with the Robins for at least another 12 months.

He said: “We are proud to be teaming up with Hull KR for a second season. The club is ambitious and has big plans for the future – making it a natural fit with our company.

“This is a very exciting time for Hull’s business scene, with the City of Culture year fast approaching and the Enterprise Hub Training Centre at the KC Lightstream Stadium really taking off. It’s great to be part of the buzz.

“Hopefully we will be able to do our bit by enabling the city’s entrepreneurs to get on and grow their businesses.”

With their company logo appearing around the KC Lightstream Stadium as well as on the club’s home and away shirts this year, ClearSky also held a series of workshops for start-ups and small businesses at the Enterprise Training Hub in the new Colin Hutton Stand.

Hull KR’s commercial manager Bobby Bahadori said: “Our partnership with ClearSky over the past 12 months has been much more than that of a club and its main sponsor and we can’t thank them enough for their support.

“It is our aim now to help give a little back to everybody at ClearSky for all they have done this year and it is our hope that fans become more aware of the services they offer.

“We’re thrilled that we will be working alongside them once again in 2015 and we look forward to what will hopefully be a successful season on and off the field.”
