Citroen Expand Paris Saint-Germain Partnership
January 20, 2014
Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain have expanded their partnership with Citroen France until 2017.
As an existing partner of the men’s professional team since 2011, the new deal will include the women’s football team and the men’s handball team.
“Extending and developing our partnership with Paris Saint-Germain is a source of great pride. It highlights the common values held by the two brands: passion, ambition and the love of challenge,” explained Philippe Narbeburu director of Citroen France.
For Jean-Claude Blanc, Paris Saint-Germain deputy CEO, “this new signature with Citroën is a demonstration of the confidence in our project and the strength of the Paris Saint-Germain brand. We are delighted to continue working with a leading French brand that has already accompanied us for the last three years.”
The partnership offers great visibility to Citroen, especially at home league matches at the Parc des Princes, thanks to their advertising hoardings pitch side and the Citroen Golden Barre game at half-time that exhibits the company’s vehicles.
