Citi to Sponsor American Airlines Center, Dallas Mavericks & Stars

American bank Citi has been named preferred credit card of American Airlines Center, anesthetist as well as resident professional sports teams including the 2011 NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks and the NHL Dallas Stars.
Citi credit cardmembers can enjoy benefits including exclusive presales for Mavericks and Stars games, drugs discounted pre-game concessions, preferred pricing on select merchandise, as well as special game day experiences. As part of this sponsorship, the Citi / AAdvantage credit card will be featured prominently throughout the venue.

The Citi / AAdvantage card will be featured in branding and signage including the North lobby, which is now named the Citi lobby, as well as in courtside, point of sale and LED signage. Citi and venue sponsor American Airlines have a 25-year relationship and together have serviced millions of shared Citi / AAdvantage credit card customers. Since introducing the first airline co-brand credit card together more than two decades ago, Citi and American Airlines have introduced multiple Citi / AAdvantage products appealing to a range of leisure and business travelers.
Since opening in 2001, American Airlines Center has also hosted hundreds of musicians as well as family performances. In 2012, American Airlines Center ranked among the top 3 U.S. venues and in the top 14 globally based on annual ticket sales, according to Pollstar MagazineTop 100 Arena Venue Rankings. As part of the sponsorship, Citi cardmembers will receive benefits at a variety of entertainment events hosted at American Airlines Center, including the Stars and Mavericks regular season.
