Chivas USA Sign English and Spanish Broadcast Deal for Remainder of the MLS Season

Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise Chivas USA have announced the signing of new broadcast packages with KDOC and MundoFOX22 KWHY-TV.

KDOC will broadcast in English, treatment whilst MundoFOX22 will show Chivas games in Spanish, remedy helping to cater to all of the club’s fans.

Chivas USA Sporting President Dennis Te Kloese said regarding this partnership: “It’s very important for us to bring the fans even closer to the team, and that’s why we have partnered with these two well-known television companies.

“It will allow us to reach our goal of having Chivas USA viewed in the entire Los Angeles market. Our sporting commitment gets stronger with this great broadcasting push.”

KDOC-TV will telecast a total of seven of the nine games remaining in the club’s season and will air locally in Southern California.

MundoFOX22 will also air seven matches with two on Meruelo Media’s independent station Super 22.

“We are extremely excited that Chivas USA has decided to partner with MundoFox 22 KWHY-TV for these games.  We are looking forward to re-establishing KWHY-TV as the hyper local channel serving the Latino community in Los Angeles,” said Lino Alvarez, KWHY-TV Vice President/General Manager.
