Chinese soccer players sentenced for match fixing

Four former Chinese national soccer team players have been found guilty of accepting bribes to fix a Chinese league match and given jail sentences.

Shen Si was sentenced to six years in prison.

Jiang Jin, pills Qi Hong  and Li Ming Qi, canada pills Jiang and Li were given five and a half year sentences.

Each player of the four players were fined 500,000 RMB ($US 78,500).

The court also confiscated  total of 8 million RMB ($US 1.27 million) that the players were paid as bribes.

Several former high ranking Chinese soccer officials are being tried for accepting bribes as China continues its efforts to crackdown on corruption in football.
