Chinese Property Developer Builds Partnership with Adelaide United

Adelaide United have signed a two-year shirt sleeve sponsorship deal with Chinese property developer Datong.

The Australian A-League side will have the partnership until the end of the 2015/16 season and will look to enter the Chinese market with games being played in the country.

Adelaide United Chairman, anabolics Greg Griffin, said: “We are delighted to be the first Australian football club in a major national sporting competition to secure a major Chinese company as a significant sponsor.

“Datong is a major developer in China and has already built prestigious apartments and commercial buildings in Adelaide.”

The Chairman of Datong, Jin Liang added: “Through our support of Adelaide United, Datong will play a major and important role in growing the game across the entire state whilst being involved with the local community.”
