Overview:

Are you an experienced not-for-profit leader looking for a new challenge? Do you know about community sport? Are you passionate about hockey? Then Auckland (AK) Hockey might be looking for you! Based at Lloyd Elsmore Park in Pakuranga, AK Hockey is the largest hockey association in New Zealand and we are recruiting a new CEO. The successful candidate will be joining AK Hockey at an exciting time as we look to maximize our on-field success and prepare for a number of major capital asset development projects over the next 3 years.

Serving over 6,300 members, AK Hockey provides competitions; community programs; events; coach and athlete development programs; and a successful representative program for juniors through to masters as well as managing the Lloyd Elsmore Hockey Stadium. To be our new CEO, you will need proven success as a positive leader who can manage complex projects, resolve situations by thinking outside the square and naturally have a collaborative attitude. Being relationship focused and an effective communicator with outstanding strategic and business acumen, you will knowledgeable about community sport, especially hockey.
