Chicago Fire Announce Local Television Partner for 2013

Major League Soccer (MLS) club, health the Chicago Fire, viagra have struck a deal with WPWR My50 Chicago to see the local channel become the official television broadcast partner of the team.

The deal will be for the whole of the 2013 season and will start with the game against Chivas USA at Toyota Park on 24 March.

As many as 23 matches will be shown live on My50 Chicago and Fire COO, allergist Atul Khosla is delighted to have a local partner on board.

Khosla said: “We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with My50 Chicago as the ‘Home of the Fire’ for Chicago Fire matches throughout the 2013 season.

“Placing all of our matches on a local channel and providing destination programming is integral to the growth of our club. My50 Chicago is a widely available, over the air local affiliate committed to building connectivity throughout the Chicagoland area through soccer and the Chicago Fire. We’re looking forward to cultivating our relationship this season.”

“My50 is extremely proud to be the official “home of the Fire” for the 2013 season,” added Dennis Welsh, Vice President and General Manager of My50.

“The Fire is coming off a successful 2012 season and we are looking forward to providing our viewers all the live action throughout the coming season. Partnering with the Fire is just another example of My50’s commitment to bringing appointment local programming to Chicago area viewers.”

At least 20 of the matches will be available in High Definition on My50 Chicago and the Fire will also appear on national broadcasters such as NBC Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, Univision and UniMas.

Seasoned play-by-play announcer Dan Kelly will be joined by Kevin Egan in covering the games for My50 Chicago.
