Cheltenham Racecourse Seeks New Sponsor for Foxhunter Chase

Cheltenham racecourse is on the search for a new sponsor for its famous Foxhunter Chase. 

The race, which was first staged in 1904, has been run under the Christie’s banner for the past 34 years but earlier this week the world famous auctioneers withdrew their sponsorship.

“Christie’s has been an excellent partner for this iconic race, but we will now begin the process of talking to other interested parties and recruiting a new sponsor,” said Cheltenham’s Peter McNeile.
