Chelsea MD to Leave Stamford Bridge

Chelsea Managing Director Christian Purslow will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.

Purslow joined the Blues, who currently sit 10 points clear at the Premier League summit, in 2014 after a spell at Liverpool.

The experienced executive has overseen some major commercial agreements for the club, generating £100m per year through deals with Nike and Yokohama Tires.

The club have experienced differing fortunes on the pitch, having convincingly won the Premier League title in 2014/15 before dropping to 10th the following campaign.
