Chelsea Increases Asia Commitments with Launch of New Indonesian Soccer School

Chelsea FC have increased their commitment to Asian market by revealing the launch of a new Soccer School in Indonesia in January.
Based in Jakarta and operated by Starcom Sports Management PTE LTD, the new Soccer School will be launched on 18 January and is the latest element of Chelsea FC’s objective to support and develop grassroots football in Asia.
The first sessions are scheduled for 25 January, with children of all abilities and aged between six and 17 welcome, with training sessions led by local coaches who have been fully certified and supported by the Chelsea FC Foundation.
The Soccer School is part of Chelsea’s Here to Play, Here to Stay initiative which ensures a long-term commitment to our global communities and uses the power of sport to educate and inspire.
Chelsea FC Asia Managing Director Adrian New said: “I am delighted that Chelsea FC will have a Soccer School in Indonesia to complement our nine other schools in the region and to enable children living in Indonesia to learn to play football the Chelsea way in a safe, friendly and professional environment.
“Chelsea FC has a huge fanbase in Asia and our Soccer Schools teach aspiring footballers the club’s footballing ethos through professional coaching.”
The facility in Jakarta will be an addition to Chelsea’s existing work in Asia, with Blue Pitches and Soccer Schools in Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, China, South Korea and Sabah.
