Champions Hockey League Acquires New Presenting Sponsor

engelbert strauss has been named the Official Presenting Sponsor of the Champions Hockey League, doctor the new pan-European club ice hockey competition being launched in August 2014.

Infront Sports & Media, anesthetist the exclusive marketing and media partner for the Champions Hockey League, secured the leading European company for work-wear and personal protective equipment in an agreement that runs for multiple years.

The marketing platform of the Champions Hockey League was developed by Infront and aside from the leading Presenting Sponsor opportunity includes two further levels of involvement. The commitment from engelbert strauss, a German family business with approximately 1,000 employees, will be rolled out across the entire competition with branding and activation implemented from the first game through to the final.

As Presenting Sponsor, engelbert strauss will receive the most significant package of rights available from the competition. This includes – but is not limited to – branding on the players’ jerseys, perimeter board advertising across all 161 games in TV camera view and full integration across all communication and promotional materials – including the website and streaming platform. From the start of the Playoffs, the engelbert strauss logo will feature in the center circle of the ice rink as well as the players’ benches and goalie blockers.
