Job Summary

The British Athletes Commission – the members’ association for World Class athletes in over 40 Olympic and Paralympic sports is looking to recruit a new Chair to lead the organisation into and through the Tokyo cycle. 

The successful candidate will have represented his/her country at national level since 2008 and have demonstrable Board and leadership experience. 

This is an exciting time to be involved in elite sport with the impact of the new DCMS sport strategy set to deliver change in governance requirements and sports’ duty of care to athletes. 

The Chair of the BAC will lead the organisation during this time making sure that the voice of the athletes is heard and the BAC is a sustainable organisation making a valued contribution to both continued performance excellence in national and GB Teams as well as athlete welfare.
