September 16, 2013
The East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) have announced that CCM will continue as the official provider of on-ice equipment to all ECHL teams for the 2013-14 season.
CCM has been the exclusive supplier of hockey sticks, recipe helmets, visors, gloves and pants for ECHL players the past seven seasons and has been partners of the Premier ‘AA’ Hockey League for more than 10 years. Starting with the 2013-14 season, CCM will be the exclusive provider of home and away jerseys for each of the ECHL’s 22 teams.
CCM provides authentic and replica jerseys and skates for ECHL teams and has supplied jerseys, visors, helmets and pants for on-ice officials.
“We are very proud to be extending our agreement,” said Sean Williams, VP of Global Marketing for Reebok-CCM Hockey. “This partnership has brought us excellent visibility over the years and we are thrilled to grow our brands alongside the ECHL.”
“CCM is a worldwide leader in the hockey equipment category and we are proud to extend what has been a very valuable and long-standing relationship for the ECHL,” said ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna.
CCM will continue to receive predominant league-wide exposure through a variety of sources including, but not limited to, dasher boards, radio, television and in-arena announcements, and advertisements in league and team publications.
CCM will also be featured on ECHL.com, the official web site of the league, and on member web sites through the ECHL.com Network. CCM is the official sponsor of the ECHL weekly goaltender award as well as the monthly player and rookie awards and the yearly awards for goaltender, plus-minus rating, rookie and most valuable player.
