Canterbury Sign Titanic Deal with Rotherham

May 21, 2013

Rugby brand Canterbury has signed a new three-year deal to become the Rotherham Titans official kit supplier.

The Titans currently play Championship rugby after a ‘golden decade’ in the 1990s and early 2000s saw them rise through the divisions.

The new deal with Canterbury will launch on June 1 and highlights the brand’s desire to expand in Championship rugby.

Chris Stephenson, discount CEO of Canterbury said: “Rotherham Titans remains a consistent top 20 club in English rugby and it is important for us to have a real brand presence within the English Championship, not just the Premiership.

“We are looking forward to working with a club with such a successful rugby history and to be a part of a team which attracts a dedicated and passionate rugby audience.

“Combined with their dedication to producing and developing talented players. I have no doubt there is a successful road ahead.”

Nick Cragg, Rotherham Rugby Union Football club Chairman added: “We are thrilled to have such a prestigious rugby brand as Canterbury come on board with the club.

“The Titans share the same passion and commitment towards high performance rugby as Canterbury and we look forward to excelling together on the pitch.”
