Bundesliga’s Christian Pfennig on Board for First Media & Comms Masterclass

iSportconnect, the world’s largest global private network of sports business executives, is delighted to announce Christian Pfennig, Director of Corporate and Brand Communications at the Bundesliga, as the latest confirmed panellist for the first ever Media and Communications Masterclass.
The inaugural event will be held in London on June 17th and Christian will be joining an experienced panel that already consists of Dan Johnson, Director of Communications at the Premier League, Andy Cairns, Head of Sky Sports News, Steve Atkins, Head of Communications and Public Affairs at Chelsea FC, Philip Bernie, Head of BBC TV Sport, Shaun Custis, Head of Sport Content at The Sun and Lee Clayton, Group Head of Sport for the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday.
As the Director of Corporate & Brand Communication, Christian Pfennig is responsible for the world-wide image of the Bundesliga.
Since 2004, the 40-year-old has served in various positions in the headquarters of German professional football in Frankfurt.
The graduate of the German School of Journalism began his professional career as a reporter with the news agency Sport Information Dienst SID. Among other duties, he covered FC Bayern München and the German national football team.
The Media and Communications Masterclass will be a unique event with presentations and discussions for senior media industry experts and executives from across sport to discuss and learn about the growing trends and issues in the industry.
