Bundesliga Clubs Hamburger SV & Hertha BSC Ink New Deals

German Bundesliga football clubs Hamburger SV (HSV) and Hertha BSC have inked new deals with SPORTFIVE and Verivox GmbH respectively.
HSV and SPORTFIVE have extended their agreement, ed which sees the German sports rights marketing agency continue to market HSV, anesthetist by a further five seasons, up until 2020.
The pair have been working together since 1998 and the latest contract was set to expire in 2015.
In the past SPORTFIVE has implemented important new business models and innovations in the market – such as the first naming rights of the stadium or new media solutions such as the HSV App.
Joachim Hilke, Director of Marketing/Communications of HSV said: “SPORTFIVE has done an excellent job for 15 years for HSV. We look forward to continuing this partnership.”
Philipp Hasenbein, Managing Director of SPORTFIVE added: “HSV and SPORTFIVE have a long-standing and trusting partnership.
“Together with HSV, we have changed the components of the cooperation and found a suitable solution for both sides. We are very happy with the result and look forward to many more years of partnership with the HSV.”
Verivox signs as exclusive partner at Hertha
Recently promoted side Hertha BSC have signed a one year deal with Verivox GmbH which sees them become an exclusive partner to the 2. Bundesliga champions.
The agreement was brokered by SPORTFIVE and will see Verivox have a headquarters in Heidelberg, as well as TV advertising at Hertha BSC home games.
Marketing campaigns and business seats in the hospitality area of the Olympic Stadium will also become available in the deal.
