Bridges Estate Agents Revealed as Aldershot Town’s Shirt Sponsor

English fifth tier team Aldershot Town have announced Bridges Estate Agents as the Club’s new shirt sponsors on a three-year deal. 

With six offices in the Surrey-Hampshire region, in Aldershot, Ash Vale, Camberley, Farnborough, Farnham and Flee, Bridges are one of the area’s premier agents for sales and letting. 

Tony Raffermati and Carlo Stocchetti, joint owners of Bridges Estate Agents, said: “As fans of the club, and business owners within the community for 22 years, we are delighted to be sponsors of Aldershot Town FC. Success is defined in many different ways and we saw the relationship withAldershot Town Football Club as a responsibility to act and work with like-minded people to get this Club buzzing again. 

“We love our home town and our business has flourished because of the loyal, hard-working community. It has always been Bridges’ ethos to give something back to our community. It has been painful to see what has happened to the town over the last few years, with empty shops and businesses closing, but with the plans that Rushmoor and Grainger PLC have with the development of “Wellesley” we feel the future is bright for Aldershot. That is why it was so important that Shahid and the directors have helped keep the Club afloat. It is an institution and part of our great town.

Aldershot Town chairman Shahid Azeem said: “We are delighted as this is a perfect fit between ourselves and Bridges. We would of course like to thank Tim Elliott of EBB who has sponsored the shirts previous occasions. He will be having a break for now but I know he will still be supporting the club and we are grateful of all that he represents and stands for.” 

“We had several approaches from various companies looking to have their name on our shirts. Many of them were gaming or money lending companies which we did not feel fitted in with the ethics and morals of how we are trying to run this club. We were determined to wait until we met with someone who wanted to work with the club in the way we thought best. 

“On speaking to Tony and Carlo we realised that they are totally committed to the Shots and to the town of Aldershot and the wider borough of Rushmoor. They are local people, they care for the club and they want to be involved. They have several branches around the area and we are very grateful to them for their support and the aspect of marketing that they also will bring to the club.
