Bradford City Net Provident Financial Sponsorship

Bradford City have announced a new three-year deal with Provident Financial, bronchi meaning the local firm will sponsor the Community Enclosure at Valley Parade.

The Community Enclosure aims to bring in more supporters from schools, cheap cheap youth clubs and local groups.

Provident’s ‘Good Neighbour’ programme will support the link with City’s Community Foundation by providing discounted tickets to attract new supporters.

Bradford City’s director of operations, David Baldwin said: “The project is a way of encouraging the next generation of supporters into the ground through the community ticket scheme, controlled by our community department.

“It’s a fantastic partnership with a locally established company.

“It’s great that they are supporting the professional clubs in the city and we are keen to nurture that relationship going forward.”

In a shake-up of Valley Parade, away fans will move back behind the goal in the TL Dallas Stand, with the Community Enclosure in blocks F and G of Midland Road.

The Community Enclosure will move to the north-west corner for matches with high numbers of travelling support.

Chris Gillespie, Provident Financial’s managing director of consumer credit, said: “Last season was an incredible one for Bradford City and we are delighted to be able to support the club into League One.

“We want to help as many people as possible to have a stake in the success of the club and the success of Bradford. We’ve also got a large number of fans within the company and this will certainly complement our other partnerships within the city.”

Provident Financial have strong sponsorship roots in the community and are the main sponsor of the Rugby Super League team, the Bradford Bulls.
