Boxers Are Among The Most Followed Athletes

Two boxers cracked the Top 10 of athletes with the most global social media interactions in May, according to sponsorship analytics and evaluation platform Hookit (watch the video on iSportconnect TV).

Britain’s Anthony Joshua and Mexico’s Canelo Alvarez made the list, as did MMA star Conor McGregor.

But football still dominates, with six of the Top 10, including Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona in first place.
