Bobby Jones Becomes Apparel Partner of the Portugal Masters

Jones Global Sports, clinic the owners of golf brand Bobby Jones, try have struck a three-year deal with the European Tour to become the Official Apparel Partner of the Portugal Masters.

The deal runs until 2018 and is described as the “first major announcement of (the) brand’s growing commitment to the European market.”

As Grahame Jenkins, sale Director of International Business at Jones Global Sports explained: “Our support of the European Tour and the Portugal Masters is a clear indication of how important Europe is to the Bobby Jones brand.

“This strategic partnership will strengthen our position in the market and help raise awareness of the brand.”

The Portugal Masters is hosted on the Oceanico Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura.

The 2013 event was won by Englishman David Lynn.

Peter Adams, Director of International Championships at the European Tour commented: “We are delighted that Bobby Jones will be our official apparel partner at the Portugal Masters.

“It’s reassuring to work with a brand who has such a great heritage and whose product is exemplary.
