Bob Howden Steps Down As Cycling Chairman

February 9, 2017

Bob Howden has stepped down from his role as Chairman of British Cycling, but will remain President of the organisation. Former Vauxhall chairman Jonathan Browning will take over in the role.

Howden was re-elected in December, but has now followed British Cycling CEO Ian Drake in stepping down in early 2017.

British Cycling has endured a trying year, with accusations of bullying being reported and the UK Anti-Doping Agency investigating the body.
