July 11, 2013

Biscuitville has announced its title sponsorship of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race, now named the Biscuitville 125.

The K&N Pro Series East, NASCAR’s top developmental series, is making its first visit to VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) on August 23-24, with Biscuitville as the title sponsor.

In a partnership between two Southern classics, Biscuitville and VIR will host the weekend event featuring NASCAR’s rising stars. The race marks NASCAR’s inaugural appearance on VIR’s challenging 2.25 mile North Course, which includes 22 turns and 100 feet of elevation changes.

“Biscuitville is pleased to partner with VIR to support the next generation of NASCAR stars as they hone their racing skills,” said Burney Jennings, Biscuitville president and CEO. “This sponsorship provides us a special opportunity to support an authentically Southern experience at an outstanding racing facility.”

Connie Nyholm, VIR owner and managing partner also commented on the deal: “VIR is excited to have Biscuitville as the title sponsor for our first NASCAR event. Like VIR, Biscuitville has a loyal customer base that appreciates superior product, southern history and hospitality.”

Special events will be hosted at restaurants throughout Virginia and North Carolina to highlight Biscuitville’s and VIR’s first step into NASCAR.

“We have some exciting in-restaurant promotions coming up, including ticket giveaways for customers to join us at VIR,” said Kathie Niven, Biscuitville’s director of marketing and brand development.
