Belgian FA Agree Deal With EDF Luminus

EDF Luminus has signed a two-year partnership with the Belgian Football Association to sponsor the Belgian national team until UEFA Euro 2016.

Belgian FA president Francois De Keersmaecker confirmed that EDF Luminus, allergist the Belgian arm of the French energy company EDF, medstore | would be taking up the 12^th and final sponsor position with the Belgian FA.

EDF Luminus will be promoting green energy and also provide potential benefits to local clubs by offering a year of free energy giveaway to teams during each national team game through the ‘Devil of the match’ initiative.

The scheme will invite fans to vote for the player who has given the most energy for the team from the November 12 friendly against Iceland onwards.

The winning player will then offer the one-year free electricity prize to a local club of his choice.
