beIN Sports Secure Rights to German Bundesliga

Qatari television broadcaster beIN Sports has agreed a deal to broadcast the German Bundesliga for the 2014-15 season exclusively in the Middle East and North Africa regions (MENA).

beIN Sports has sublicensed the rights to broadcast Germany’s top league from Dubai Sports Channels.

The deal was struck prior to the start of the Bundesliga season kicking off on Friday.

“We are delighted to have the Bundesliga on beIN SPORTS in MENA, impotent ” said Yousef Al-Obaidly, store beIN Media Group Deputy CEO.

“This is a great opportunity to continue engaging soccer fans after the success of Germany during the World Cup in Brazil.”
