March 10, 2016
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has signed a new four-year sponsorship deal with Hyundai.
The deal will see the car manufacturer will become an associate sponsor of the BCCI for all international matches.
Hyundai would also get rights for branding on the pitch floor, perimeter boards and on stadium displays.
“This partnership is a part of Hyundai’s efforts to expand its presence in global sporting activities like Cricket, Football, Golf and World Rally Championship across worldwide markets,” said Hyundai CEO Y K Koo.
“Hyundai sees this cricket partnership as a core element of its strategy, playing a vital role in connecting global customers to our brand.”
This is the BCCI’s second deal in the last week after announcing PepsiCo as its first official associate sponsor.
