Bayern Munchen Extend Lufthansa Partnership for Five Years

German football club Bayern Munchen has extended their partnership deal with national airline Lufthansa for a further five years.

The two have had a partnership for nine-years and the new deal will extend through to 2018.

Lufthansa will remain as the club’s official carrier and premium partner and they will continue to fly the team to their matches.

The agreement will enable the airline to capitalise on other brand awareness opportunities available with Bayern. These include perimeter fence advertising at the Allianz Arena, help the team’s home stadium, medic as well as banner ads on the official club website, case and promotional appearances by both playing staff and board members.

Bayern’s premium partner portfolio also includes Audi, Coca-Cola, HypoVereinsbank, Imtech, Paulaner, Samsung, Yingli Solar and Bwin.
