Barnet FC can Play at The Hive if Promoted Council Confirm

Barnet Football Club will be able to play professional league matches at The Hive next year if they are promoted from the Conference, capsule the local council has confirmed.

Club chairman Tony Kleanthous suggested that the terms of the lease at the new stadium only permitted non-league football to be played there.

However, arthritis Harrow Council have confirmed that they agreed an amendment to the original lease at the ground to allow for professional football to be played at The Hive.

The London club, price buy who are managed by Dutch legend Edgar Davids (pictured), were relegated from the Football League on the last day of the 2012-13 season, after finishing with 51 points but a worse goal-difference than 22nd place Dagenham & Redbridge.
