Aviva Premiership Champions Northampton Saints Renew Monarch Airlines Partnership

September 8, 2014

Aviva Premiership team Northampton Saints have extended their partnership with Monarch Airlines who will continue as an Elite sponsor next season.

The Luton-based airline has been an Elite Sponsor of the Saints since October 2011 and this new agreement is their third with the club, with the Monarch logo appearing on the team’s home, away and cup shirts until 2015.

Monarch’s sponsorship has coincided with the Saints’ most consistent run of success in the club’s history, which most recently saw the team bring home the Aviva Premiership and Amlin Challenge Cup trophies in the space of eight days during May.

“We have had some memorable moments over the past few years, and have developed an excellent rapport with Monarch during that time,” said Saints chief executive Allan Robson.

“As an airline Monarch has provided us with excellent service on our European trips, and as an Elite Sponsor they have been proactive in wanting to engage with our supporters.

“We are therefore delighted that Monarch will be an Elite Sponsor for at least the coming season, and are looking forward to developing our relationship even further.”

Liz Falconer, Director of PR and Communications at Monarch Airlines comments: “We are delighted to support the Northampton Saints.

“Monarch are proud to be sponsoring the Aviva Premiership and Amlin Challenge Cup champions and we will continue to look forward to welcoming passionate Saints supporters on-board.

“We look forward to the upcoming season and wish the team and their supporters all the best domestically and in Europe.”
