IMG STG Confirmed as Technology Partner for 2015 Netball World Cup

IMG Sports Technology Group (STG) has been named as the official technology partner of the 2015 Netball World Cup.

As part of the deal the technology company will provide and handle the the content management system for the tournament’s website.

2015 Netball World Cup CEO Marne Fechner said, advice “The NWC2015 website is a central hub of the event with fans across the world able to access live scores, buy cialis the latest news, order stats, and videos at the click of a button.

The 2015 Netball World Cup will be held from 7-16 August.

IAAF Headquarters to Remain in Monaco

The International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) President Lamine Diack has agreed a deal with the Principality of Monaco for the organisation to continue to headquartered in Monaco.

The IAAF will however move offices to a new location within the Principality early next year.

“It is with the greatest of pleasure and pride that in the final year of my last mandate as president of the International Association of Athletics Federations that I have the honour to sign a new convention with the Principality of Monaco, health ” said President Diack (pictured).

“The existing IAAF headquarters were officially inaugurated in Monaco on 10 June 1994 in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Twenty years ago the Principality embraced the Olympics’ number one sport.

“A warm friendly relationship between the palace, the people of Monaco and the IAAF has existed ever since.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II added: “I would like to say how thrilled I am that the relationship between the Principality and the IAAF is ongoing, especially with these new premises.

“The bond between athletics and the Principality are long lasting and strong. Its practice is widely spread in our educational structures as well as with the athletics section of A.S. Monaco, which has just celebrated 90 years of existence.

“It is now 30 years, on the initiative of the late Primo Nebiolo, that the International Athletic Foundation was founded in Monaco. This organisation has a mission to help promote athletics, particularly in supporting the development of appropriate infrastructures.

Olympic Athlete To Inspire Fashion Brand

Major Fashion Brand, Fred Perry, has tied down Olympian and Team Sky rider Bradley Wiggins to a new clothing brand which will see him work with the brand in inspiring a new clothing line, originating from Wiggins’ ‘mod’ leanings.

MLS Announce Expansion Plans

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:

Global Communications Project Management

  • Coordinate and manage global overall communication of the exciting Red Bull Air Race. This includes defining the strategy for all channels, leading the team, creation of content in close cooperation with the project team and Red Bull Media House specialists as well as coordinating and analyzing the Media Monitoring.
  • Lead the entire moving images production of the series and create the best fitting products for global distribution.
  • Responsible for country activation projects in coordination with the local and partner / sponsor teams, defining content creation and distribution.
  • Set global quality standards for best practice motor sports communication and organize complete media and PR work on and off site for the project.

Country Cooperation

  • Ensure close collaboration with our national Communication Managers within different countries.
  • Provide national Communication Managers with parts of the communication strategy, guide, enable and support them.
  • Consult the national Communication Managers on national projects and daily work such as regular contact and feedback. You will support partners and sponsors in media work around the pilots and series.

Event Communication

  • Responsible for the event PR and communication from “before the event communication” until “after the event distribution”.
  • Responsible for event operations and on site management and safeguard according to international standards

Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in journalism/TV/print/photo/web or content management
  • Event experience from previous jobs with e.g. event companies, event sponsors, PR, media or production/distribution agencies
  • Worked in the sport business and possesses managerial skills and experience

Skills and Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge from Communication and Marketing studies or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of event communication, media work, media and moving images productions, moving and still images distribution and PR
  • Excellent marketing skills & understanding, as well as correspondence
  • Excellent English and German skills (written and oral); native English or German speaker
  • Strong affinity with new media
  • Enthusiastic about sports and motorsports
  • Open-minded, diligent, team-oriented, exact and flexible
