Falken Renews AMA Supercross Sponsorship

Feld Motor Sports announced today that Falken Tire Corporation, medic the stand-alone brand that focuses on ultra high performance products, extended their partnership as the Exclusive Passenger/Truck Tire Manufacturer of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, through 2015. 

At each stop of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross season, one lucky fan will win a Falken-branded guitar at the Falken Tire display in the pit party. Along with being a major sponsor for the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross season, Falken Tire will also showcase their world-renowned products at 15 races with product specialists on-site.

Casco Sponsors World Cycling Centre

CASCO, ailment a leading helmet manufacturer has inked a deal to partner with World Cycling Centre (WCC) in Aigle, health Switzerland.

Under the agreement with the German company, which will run from 1st January 2013 until 31st December 2016, the WCC will receive 130 helmets a year for its trainees in the road, track and BMX disciplines.

UCI President Pat McQuaid welcomed the new partnership: “We recognize the confidence that this company has in the WCC’s young athletes, who represent the future of cycling. It is very positive for us to have the support of a major company such as CASCO.”

WCC Director Frédéric Magné added: “Our trainees are extremely talented and can only benefit from this type of top quality equipment to facilitate their training sessions and race preparation. CASCO has shown that it wishes to be part of their evolution on the international scene.”

Jeanette Krauter, head of sport sponsoring at CASCO, said that the new agreement was in line with the company’s tradition of sports sponsorship. Stena Extends Match Cup Sweden Sponsorship

Stena will continue as title sponsor of Stena Match Cup Sweden.

Ever since the start 18 years ago, thumb the event has been one of the highlights on the Swedish West Coast.

Today, anesthetist Swedish Match Cup is one of Sweden’s largest public sports events and continues to grow in both sporting and media terms. It is one of several races in the match racing world cup, order Alpari World Match Racing Tour and many of sailing’s biggest names have participated since the start in 1994. Westfield Health to Sponsor Rotherham United’s New York Stadium

Westfield Health, one of the UK’s leading not for profit health insurance providers, has been unveiled as the sponsor of the disabled enclosures at Rotherham United’s landmark New York Stadium.

The deal will mean that the sponsored disabled enclosures at the English League Two’s club ground will now be named the Westfield Health enclosure.

Abu Dhabi Secures Historic Partnership with WRC’s Citroen Racing

Abu Dhabi, the capital city of United Arab Emirates, has agreed an historic partnership with nine-time World Rally Championship (WRC) winning manufacturer, Citroën Racing, to bolster the emirate’s presence in global motorsport. 

The three-year partnership between Citroën Racing and the newly-created Abu Dhabi Racing (ADR) – an Abu Dhabi-based company working on a number of expansive professional and grassroots motorsport initiatives – will see the two full-works manufacturer teams, Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team and the Abu Dhabi Total Citroën World Rally Team, participate in the WRC as of next season’s opening round in Monte Carlo, running January 18-20. Both teams and all registered drivers in the new Citroën -Abu Dhabi stable will be eligible to score manufacturers’ points.

On WRC rounds where nine-time world champion, Sebastien Loeb, is participating, the legendary Frenchman will drive for Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team alongside Finland’s Mikko Hirvonen, with Spain’s Dani Sordojoining Al Qassimi in the Abu Dhabi Total Citroën World Rally Team. When Loeb, who is contesting a shortened schedule next season, is not in action, Sordo will pilotthe second manufacturers’ points-scoring car for Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team.

Additionally, the all-new Abu Dhabi Total Citroën World Rally Team will contest the 2013 Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) – the first-time in history a full WRC works team has participated in the region’s premier off-road motorsport series – with Al Qassimi scheduled to complete the series’ entire calendar.

Cricket Australia (CA) today announced that Commonwealth Bank has extended their support of cricket by coming on board as an official partner of the KFC T20 Big Bash League.

Commonwealth Bank adds to the growing number of sponsors, purchase which includes Toyota, prostate who have cemented their support for the upcoming season of the KFC T20 Big Bash League.

Cricket Australia also partnered with US headwear brand New Era Cap Co, Inc., last month in a deal that will see all players, coaches and staff from each BBL team ‘don’ the latest in high-tech cricketing fashion – the ‘59Fifty’ cap.

SAP AG today announced a three-year partnership with the Extreme Sailing Series, decease a world-class, professional Global Circuit that puts fans at the heart of the action through their “stadium racing” format.

As the “Official Technical Partner” of the series, SAP plans to deliver cutting-edge business software and analytics solutions to provide sailors, spectators and the media with an unprecedented sailing experience.

For the first time in the six-year history of Extreme Sailing Series, analytics solutions from SAP can offer fans and broadcasters insights to enable them to decipher exactly what is happening on the water through the use of live leaderboards and 3-D visualizations taking place in real time. Post-race data will also provide teams with tools to analyze their performance and optimize their strategy helping them sail better.
